About the role
The Technical Writer Intern is responsible for writing, reviewing, and editing content for the Source Intelligence Integrated Knowledge Center (SI IKC) to support Source Intelligence employees and customers with the use of our technology. You will work closely with the Learning and Development department, Source Academy, the Product team, and internal subject matter experts. You will be expected to regularly use LLM toolsets, such as ChatGPT and Claude, to implement and facilitate the tasks identified below.
What you’ll do
- Create content based on user guides, conversations with SMEs, and feedback from users
- Review and edit existing content to ensure quality and consistency of tone, style, and branding
- Upload articles to the SI IKC
- Bonus project: Automate a process to track when articles should be reviewed and updated
- Other job duties as assigned by your manager
What we’re looking for
- College or graduate student in a related major such as Engineering, Computer Science, English, or Communications interested in pursuing a career in technical writing / help authoring
- A self-starter, organized, and able to work with minimal supervision in a remote work environment
- Strong writing and proofreading abilities
- Familiarity and experience working with common LLMs including ChatGPT and Claude and the ability to build tools and repeatable processes within these LLMs is preferred
- Familiarity with Knowledge Base software, Zendesk preferred
- Excellent oral communication and interpersonal skills
- Willing to work full time during the 2026 summer period.
