About the Talent Scout Role
The Talent Scout is crucial for strategically expanding and nurturing Sound Physicians’ talent community, serving as a growth engine for the organization. This role acts as a connector and talent market strategist, blending recruiting, marketing, and business development principles to identify opportunities, foster long-term relationships, and convert talent leads into prospects. Unlike traditional sourcing, this position focuses on pipelining for future opportunities rather than immediate openings. Top candidates will bring innovative sourcing and engagement strategies and creatively leverage both new and existing tools.
Essential Duties and Responsibilities
Talent Community Growth & Pipelining:
- Growing and nurturing Sound Physicians’ talent community through strategic outreach, relationship-building, and talent market development initiatives.
- Partnering with a Marketing Specialist to develop thoughtful and personalized campaigns to engage and nurture talent.
- Sourcing passive talent from various channels including the internet, social media, target companies, cold calling, networking groups, job boards, and events.
- Engaging with clinicians to understand their career ambitions, motivators, and requirements for future opportunities.
- Managing talent profiles within CRM and updating based on engagement outcomes.
- Supporting outreach for recruiting events, including marquee events, tabletop career fairs, and social gatherings, to increase brand awareness and networking opportunities.
- Supporting social media presence by sharing career opportunities and brand awareness content, acting as a brand ambassador across identified channels.
- Representing Sound Physicians at conferences and events to build brand equity and uncover new talent channels.
- Positively projecting the values and goals of Sound Physicians with the sophistication and maturity required to build credibility with physicians, colleagues, and clients.
Talent & Competitor Intelligence:
- Analyzing global business, economic, and talent trends to identify opportunities to enhance sourcing and engagement strategies.
- Conducting competitor analysis and monitoring sourcing trends to provide the team with new ideas and strategies for clinician sourcing.
Measuring Success:
- Growth of talent community.
- Health of Pipeline.

Education and Experience
Bachelor’s Degree or equivalent experience required. 4-6 years’ experience in a recruiting, sourcing, or sales role, preferably within healthcare, pharmaceuticals, or biotech.
Additional Information
This opportunity will require the ability to travel to a minimum of two recruitment events per year. This position is eligible for additional compensation beyond base pay.
