Senior Technical Team Leader - Business Intelligence, Data Governance & Reporting

The role focuses on leading BI strategies and developing reporting solutions aligned with business objectives. The Data Transformation Principal Software Engineer will be the expert in BI practices, mentoring teams, and ensuring high data quality across all BI solutions.

  • Lead development and execution of BI strategies.
  • Design and maintain scalable data models and interactive dashboards using Power BI.
  • Optimize BI architecture and data processing for improved performance.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams including data engineers, scientists, and business stakeholders.
  • Host workshops to guide on Power BI usage and self-service BI strategies.

Required Skills & Qualifications

  • Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Computer Science, Data Science, Engineering, Mathematics, or related field.
  • 10+ years experience in Business Intelligence, including data warehousing, ETL pipelines, and reporting.
  • Expert proficiency in Power BI along with DAX, Power Query, SQL, and Python.
  • Certified Power BI Data Analyst Associate (PL300) and Certified Data Management Professional (CDMP)- DAMA.
  • Proficient in Agile/Scrum or traditional project management methodologies.
  • A collaborative mindset and commitment to continuous learning.
