Job Description
The Senior Digital Backend Software Engineer at Sopra Steria will drive architectural design and product roadmap definition for banking and financing solutions. You will build software products with agile, collaborative R&D teams, mentoring peers and ensuring high-quality delivery and governance of solutions.
Minimum Qualifications
- Bachelor's or higher degree in Computer Science or related field.
- Hands-on experience with Java (8 or higher), Spring, Spring Batch, MongoDB or PostgreSQL.
- Experience with microservices architecture, Reactive programming, Redis, Angular, and Cloud computing.
Preferred Qualifications
- Strong data structures & algorithms skills.
- Excellent communication and collaboration skills.
- Exposure to enterprise-grade components and agile environments.
- Understanding of DevOps (CI/CD pipeline) and prior experience in banking or finance is a plus.
