Job Description
Manager, Infrastructure Operations and Data Center Services
Sony Corporation of America, the U.S. headquarters of Sony Group Corporation, is seeking a Manager, Infrastructure Operations and Data Center Services in Reston, VA. This role is responsible for the operations management of data center and network facilities, including Sony configuration items and assets.
Key Responsibilities
- Manage Data Center and Network facilities operations.
- Monitor systems to ensure hardware, network, and server availability using tools like SolarWinds.
- Deliver IT programs through governance, resource and financial planning, and Total Cost of Ownership (TCO) strategies.
- Analyze service performance and recommend Service Level Requirements (SLRs) adjustments.
- Oversee offshore and onshore vendor teams, ensuring SLA compliance and resolving delivery obstacles.
- Collaborate with ADM, BRM, and Infrastructure Services teams to ensure service delivery expectations are met.
Qualifications
- Master’s degree in Telecommunications, or related field, or equivalent experience.
- Three (3) years of experience in monitoring systems and ensuring hardware, network, and server availability.
- Experience using tools such as SolarWinds for performance issue detection and resolution.
- Proven ability to deliver IT programs through governance, resource and financial planning, and TCO strategies.
- Experience analyzing service performance and recommending SLR adjustments.
- Experience overseeing vendor teams (offshore and onshore) and ensuring SLA compliance.
