Position Overview

As a Neural Machine Translation Consultant, you will work on multilingual translation, domain-specific evaluation, and LLM-based modelling projects. You will collaborate with research scientists and team members to advance Neural Machine Translation (NMT) research, specifically focusing on translating entertainment domain content in multiple languages.

Key Responsibilities

• Collaborate with research teams to advance NMT research.
• Focus on multilingual translation and domain-specific evaluation.
• Work with LLM probing and representation analysis.
• Engage with Mixture of Experts architectures and low-resource NMT methods.

What We Are Looking For

We are seeking a motivated research consultant with experience in Deep Learning, Natural Language Processing, and optionally Reinforcement Learning. Applicants should have a strong background in Python and PyTorch along with experience in LLM and NMT technologies.

Essential Qualifications

• Ph.D. or Masters in Computer Science, or Bachelor’s with applied experience.
• Excellent coding skills in Python and PyTorch.
• Strong background in Deep Learning and Natural Language Processing.
• Familiarity with LLM, Foundation Models, and NMT state-of-the-arts.

Good to Have

• Prior work experience on NLP/Indian Language Machine Translation projects.
• Demonstrated research through papers at conferences like ICML, NeurIPS, AAAI, or ACL.

Work Arrangement & Duration

This is a remote, full-time, one-year paid contract position within India, starting from the third week of November 2025. Working hours are 9:00 to 18:00 (Monday to Friday) with potential extension.
