Role Overview

The Production Manager - Music Merchandise will lead the end-to-end execution of music merchandise production across live events, tours, and e-commerce. This dynamic role demands meticulous timeline management, budget adherence, and creative collaboration.

Key Responsibilities

  • Build and maintain production schedules ensuring projects meet deadlines and budgets.
  • Collaborate with artists, creative teams, vendors, and account management to ensure brand-aligned, high-quality merchandise.
  • Oversee merchandise production from concept to delivery for tours and events.
  • Submit purchase orders, process invoices, and coordinate logistics with tour directors.
  • Source and negotiate with vendors, ensuring quality and cost-efficiency.
  • Track inventory, manage reorders, and report across sales channels.
  • Ensure compliance with licensing, rights, industry standards, and brand guidelines.
  • Troubleshoot production issues and provide real-time solutions under pressure.

Who You Are

With 5+ years of experience in production management, ideally within music, entertainment, or fashion merchandising, you understand the touring ecosystem and live event operations. Strong vendor management, communication, and organizational skills are essential; proficiency with project management tools such as Asana, Microsoft Office, and Adobe Creative Suite is also required. Flexibility to travel and work during non-standard hours is a must.
