Role Overview
The User Researcher - 12 Month Contract role at PlayStation Studios in London offers an exceptional opportunity to provide actionable, reliable user research that influences world class game development. This mid-level position involves collaborating with senior team members to design, execute, and communicate research findings.
Key Responsibilities
- Collaborate to develop comprehensive research plans for game development.
- Plan, design and execute qualitative research activities.
- Moderate tests, observe user behavior and write actionable reports.
- Communicate findings clearly to technical and non-technical teams.
- Mentor junior researchers and improve research methodologies.
Experience & Skills
Candidates should have a background in HCI, Interaction Design, Cognitive Psychology or a related field. Experience in moderating user tests, strong communication, negotiation, and organizational skills are essential. A passion for video games and a commitment to quality research are a must. Bonus skills include familiarity with quantitative methods and live service product research.
