Overview

Sony Europe is seeking an AI Governance Technical SME for its DX Solutions business. In this visible and accountable role, you will evaluate, monitor, and enhance Sony's AI Governance Framework by conducting technical assessments and developing next generation AI governance frameworks for AI and machine learning tools and use cases.

Responsibilities

  • Assess AI/ML tools and models for compliance with internal policies.
  • Conduct technical reviews of algorithms, data pipelines, and model performance.
  • Document findings and provide risk ratings, remediation recommendations, and improvement plans.
  • Collaborate with data science, compliance, and the AI Governance Committee on validation standards.
  • Monitor emerging AI regulations and integrate them into the assessment processes.
  • Maintain dashboards, metrics, and technical documentation for oversight committees.
  • Advise on model explainability and interpretability solutions.

Requirements

Essential: Hands-on experience with AI/ML model development, risk management, and validation techniques. Proficiency in statistical analysis for issues such as data drift, outliers, and bias. Strong analytical skills with the ability to translate technical findings into actionable risk insights.

Helpful: Degree in Computer Science, Data Science, Engineering or related field. Familiarity with AI governance frameworks, MLOps, and privacy-preserving AI techniques. Certification in AI ethics or risk management is a plus.
