Job Summary

The Sales Manager Honda of Serramonte is responsible for the sales success of the dealership by managing staff, setting and achieving sales projections, and developing short and long term strategies detailed by upper management.

Duties and Responsibilities

  • Project monthly vehicle requirements for a 90-day sales period.
  • Determine monthly and yearly forecasts for unit sales and profits.
  • Establish objectives with each salesperson on customer engagement and sales targets.
  • Recommend advertising, promotions, staffing, and compensation plans.
  • Conduct regular sales meetings and provide on-the-job training.
  • Manage balanced vehicle inventory and implement inventory movement programs.

Qualifications

Preferred: Minimum 4 years of automotive sales management, Honda or Acura experience, excellent communication, leadership, and bilingual skills are a plus.

Required: Must be authorized to work in the USA, hold a valid driver’s license with a good driving record, and pass background checks, MVR, drug tests, credit report reviews, and pre-employment testing.

Compensation & Schedule

Salary ranges from $120,000 to $200,000 annually with a base monthly draw and commission and bonus structures. Full time position with weekend availability required.
