Job Description Summary
The F&B Manager is expected to manage all aspects of service within the Outlets to include, Restaurant, Lobby Bar, Pool Bar and Banquets. He/She will comply with all standards of service and operating procedures. The F&B Manager will be instrumental in maintaining concept, beverage menu development and overall guest and employee satisfaction. The F&B Manager will also adhere to all federal, state, and local regulations concerning health, safety, and other compliance requirements. The ideal candidate has a passion for building and leading a highly effective team, for delivering the highest standard of service and the highest quality of food and drinks. The candidate is in tune with current culinary and beverage trends and is able to react to changes in the market quickly. Having demonstrated this passion successfully through professional experience is a must. This position will also require clear communication, motivation skills, productive coaching and precise accountability.
Principle Duties and Responsibilities
- Supervise day-to-day activities of one or more food and/or beverage outlets.
- Plan and organize work, and communicate and enforce policies and procedures.
- Responsible for departmental schedules, and labor control.
- Work closely with the F&B Director in all aspects of day-to-day activities.
- Assist with pricing revisions and updates in POS.
- Ensure that all restaurant equipment is in proper operational condition and is cleaned on a regular basis.
- Ensure that all restaurant facilities are cleaned, vacuumed, and properly stocked according to anticipated business volumes.
- Promote teamwork and quality service through daily communication and coordination with other departments. Key departmental contacts include Sales and Marketing, Catering, Banquets, Housekeeping, Maintenance and Guest Services.
- Monitor performance of the restaurant through analysis of guest feedback and financial results.
- Maintain procedures to ensure the security and proper storage of restaurant inventory, and equipment.
- Achieve budgeted revenues, control expenses and labor costs, and maximize profitability within all areas of the food and beverage outlet(s).
- Attract, retain, and motivate the best talent.
- Conduct monthly departmental meetings to uphold departments standard and conduct corporate mandated trainings.
- Ensure team members receive proper training applicable to their position and career aspirations and in accordance with company policy and/or local laws.
- Responsible for monitoring, measuring, and recognizing performance of team members.
- Support, comply and promote company initiative, policies and guidelines.
- Handle employee issues in a professional and timely manner.
- Initiate corrective action as needed.
- Responsible for ensuring success through the eyes of employees, guests, and owners.
- Utilize and collaborate with resources across different departments and corporate office.
- Capable of influencing employees to perform to their highest standard and establishing a trusting environment to enrich the culture.
- Focus on the mission and well-being of the department, hotel, and company as a whole.

Additional Job Information
Pay Range: Compensation: $60,000–$65,000 annually, based on experience. This position is bonus-eligible, with an annual incentive opportunity of 10% of base salary.
