About The Role
We are seeking a detail-oriented and analytical QA Analyst to ensure the quality and reliability of our workforce management platform. In this role, you will be responsible for testing features, identifying bugs, and ensuring a seamless user experience across the platform. You will work closely with engineering, product, and operations teams to validate functionality and improve overall product quality. This position is ideal for someone who enjoys problem-solving, has a strong eye for detail, and takes pride in delivering high-quality software.
What You’ll Do
Test Planning & Execution
- Develop and execute test plans, test cases, and test scripts
- Perform functional, regression, and exploratory testing
- Validate new features before release to ensure they meet requirements
- Ensure consistent product performance across different use cases
Bug Tracking & Reporting
- Identify, document, and track bugs and defects
- Clearly communicate issues with detailed reproduction steps
- Work closely with developers to troubleshoot and resolve issues
- Retest fixes to ensure resolution and stability
Product & Feature Validation
- Collaborate with product and engineering teams to understand requirements
- Ensure features align with business and user needs
- Validate edge cases and real-world usage scenarios
- Provide feedback to improve usability and performance
Automation & Process Improvement
- Contribute to building and maintaining automated test scripts (if applicable)
- Help improve QA processes, standards, and documentation
- Identify opportunities to increase testing efficiency and coverage
Data Accuracy & System Reliability
- Validate time tracking accuracy, calculations, and reporting outputs
- Ensure system integrity across clock-in/clock-out workflows
- Test integrations and data synchronization where applicable
What You Bring
Required Experience
- 5-8 years of experience in Quality Assurance or software testing
- Experience testing web-based applications or SaaS platforms
- Strong understanding of QA methodologies, tools, and processes
- Experience writing clear and structured test cases
- Proven ability to identify, document, and track defects
- High attention to detail and analytical thinking
- Strong communication and collaboration skills
Technical Skills
- Experience with QA tools (e.g., Jira, TestRail, or similar)
- Familiarity with bug tracking and test management systems
- Basic understanding of APIs and backend systems (preferred)
- Experience with SQL for data validation (preferred)
- Familiarity with automation tools (Selenium, Cypress, or similar is a plus)
