The QA Analyst Role
The Product and Engineering organizations build and maintain the software powering a global network of digital currency products and hardware terminals. Reliability, security, and seamless customer experience are at the heart of everything they deliver.
As a QA Analyst, you will ensure the quality and stability of these products before they reach customers. You'll design and execute test plans, uncover defects, partner closely with developers, and help maintain a culture of quality across the organization.
This is a hands-on position where you will test internal tools, customer-facing applications, and system integrations, supporting product launches and continuous improvements.
What You’ll Be Doing
- Collaborate with product managers, engineers, and cross-functional teams to understand features, requirements, and acceptance criteria.
- Create, maintain, and execute test plans, test cases, and test scripts across multiple applications and environments.
- Perform functional, regression, integration, and exploratory testing.
- Log, prioritize, and track defects with clear documentation and reproducible test steps.
- Validate fixes and enhancements prior to release, ensuring all deployments meet quality expectations.
- Assist in the maintenance of test data, test environments, and structured testing documentation.
- Support light API validation and basic database checks (e.g., running simple SQL queries, reviewing logs).
- Participate in sprint ceremonies and advocate for quality during planning, reviews, and retrospectives.
- Help refine and strengthen internal QA processes, tooling, and best practices.
Nice to Haves
- Experience in fintech, crypto, or other highly regulated industries.
- Familiarity with test automation tools or frameworks.
- Experience with API testing tools such as Postman or Insomnia.
- Exposure to systems that integrate hardware and software (e.g., kiosks, ATMs, terminals).
What We’re Looking For
Experience
- 2+ years of experience in QA, software testing, or a similar quality-focused role.
Technical Skills
- Strong understanding of testing methodologies (functional, regression, integration).
- Experience writing and executing detailed test cases and test plans.
- Proficiency with issue tracking tools (Jira or equivalent).
- Ability to perform basic API testing and run simple SQL queries (nice to have).
Soft Skills
- Exceptional attention to detail and a strong sense of ownership.
- Analytical thinker with the ability to break down complex features and edge cases.
- Clear communicator, able to articulate defects, risks, and testing outcomes.
