About The Role

The Legal Assistant role involves supporting attorneys and paralegals in all stages of litigation and pre-litigation as part of a growing personal injury law team. This client-focused position offers opportunities for professional development, collaboration, and meaningful contributions.

Key Responsibilities

  • Client Interaction: Serve as the first point of contact for clients, offer scheduling assistance and provide updates.
  • Case Management Support: Organize client files, draft legal documents, track deadlines, and assist with preliminary research.
  • Administrative & Litigation Support: Coordinate meetings, manage evidence, and support trial preparation.
  • Team Collaboration: Work closely with attorneys, paralegals, investigators, and administrative staff to ensure smooth case progression.

Qualifications

Bilingual (English/Spanish) is strongly preferred with exceptional communication skills. Previous experience as a Legal Assistant, Legal Secretary, or Administrative Assistant within personal injury law is a plus. Proficiency with Microsoft Office Suite and legal case management systems (experience with Filevine is advantageous) is required.
