About The Role
The Executive Assistant role at Somewhere offers direct support to the Chief of Staff/Director of Operations. This position goes beyond standard EA duties by incorporating project coordination, HR administration, and light financial reporting.
Key Responsibilities
- Manage the Chief of Staff’s calendar, meetings, and correspondence.
- Prioritize actionable items and act as a gatekeeper for requests.
- Support HR administration including onboarding/offboarding and record-keeping.
- Assist in basic financial reporting and expense tracking.
- Maintain and update SOPs, operational documents, and playbooks.
- Coordinate projects and track company goals and workflows.
- Occasionally update templates in Canva and support internal communications.
Qualifications & Experience
Candidates should have proficiency in Google Suite, with bonus skills in Canva and similar platforms. The ideal candidate is tech-savvy, detail-oriented, and experienced in handling confidential information. Prior experience as an EA, VA, or operations coordinator is preferred along with familiarity with CRMs and project management tools.
