About the Role
Join the team at Somewhere as a Data Operations Coordinator. In this high-impact, remote role for LATAM and South Africa, you will be the process guru and data administrator behind multiple internal departmental functions.
Mission & Responsibilities
Your primary mission is ensuring our core data is timely, accurate and ready for system ingestion. Key responsibilities include:
- Own end-to-end data workflow management and retrieval of price data from electric utilities.
- Oversee quality assurance and reconciliation by managing external data entry contractors.
- Ensure process compliance by enforcing file management protocols including naming conventions and version control.
- Maintain clear communication across time zones with contractors and internal stakeholders.
What We're Looking For
We need either a process-driven Executive Assistant or an aspiring data analyst with:
- Extreme attention to detail and analytical skills.
- Strong technical abilities with Excel/Google Sheets.
- Experience managing multiple concurrent tasks and intricate workflows.
- Clear written English communication.
- Interest in using AI tools for data processing scripts is a plus.
Schedule & Location
This is a remote position open to talent in LATAM or South Africa. The initial training requires heavy overlap with U.S. Central Standard Time (CST) hours and later transitions to more autonomous scheduling with limited overlap.
