The Impact You’ll Make in this Role

We are seeking an experienced Data Analyst to join our team and play a pivotal role in transforming how we generate and deliver insights across our healthcare business. This role focuses on building intelligent, AI-powered analytic solutions that convert complex, healthcare data into context-aware, decision-ready intelligence. Your work will directly support the commercial transformation team to drive growth objectives and strategy for operations, portfolio/marketing and sales teams. You will help bridge the gap between raw data and business outcomes by delivering interpretable, actionable insights at scale. Given the highly regulated healthcare environment, you will also ensure that all solutions align with data governance, patient privacy, and compliance standards, while maintaining high levels of data integrity.

As a Senior Data Analyst – AI & Automation, you will have the opportunity to tap into your curiosity and collaborate with some of the most innovative and diverse people around the world. Here, you will make an impact by:

• Partnering closely with business stakeholders to develop AI-powered analytics solutions and intelligent tools that deliver actionable insights to business users.
• Designing and building dynamic dashboards and decision-support applications using Power BI and Power Platform.
• Leveraging LLMs and AI agents to synthesize structured and unstructured data into context-rich insights.
• Utilizing Azure AI Foundry, Fabric, and Snowflake to enable advanced analytics and AI use cases.
• Implementing Model Context Protocol (MCP)-based approaches to enable more accurate, explainable, and scalable AI-driven outcomes.
• Translating complex healthcare datasets into clear business narratives to support commercial strategy, growth initiatives, and operational performance.
• Identifying opportunities to automate insights generation through AI-enabled workflows and intelligent agents.
• Ensuring alignment with healthcare KPIs, including performance tracking across IDNs, facilities, and commercial segments.

Your Skills And Expertise

To set you up for success in this role from day one, Solventum requires (at a minimum) the following qualifications:

• Bachelor’s Degree and seven (7) years of experience in a data analytics role OR High school/ GED and 11 years of experience in a data analytics role
• Four (4) Years experience working with SQL, data analysis, AI/ML concepts and BI tools.
• One (1) year Hands-on experience with building effective AI agents and application of AI in business use cases.
• One (1) Year of Hands-on experience with modern cloud data platforms (Azure, AWS, Fabric, Snowflake, etc.).
• Three (3) years experience translating data into business insights and executive-ready storytelling.

Additional qualifications that could help you succeed even further in this role include:

• Power BI PL-300 Certification preferred.
• Hands-on experience with implementing Model Context Protocol (MCP)-based approaches to achieve scalable outcomes.
• Hands-on experience with Azure AI Foundry or similar AI development platforms.
• Evaluating and comparing different AI models (Claude/GPT) to determine the best fit for specific use cases (e.g., reasoning tasks, summarization, automation, analytics).
• Selecting and applying models based on trade-offs across accuracy, latency, scalability, and cost.
• Experience working with healthcare data and KPIs (e.g., hospitals, IDNs, commercial analytics).

Ability and willingness to travel 15% of the time for team meetings, strategic planning sessions, or key stakeholder engagements.

Applicable to US Applicants Only: The expected compensation range for this position is $107,600 - $147,950, which includes base pay plus variable incentive pay, if eligible. This range represents a good faith estimate for this position. The specific compensation offered to a candidate may vary based on factors including, but not limited to, the candidate’s relevant knowledge, training, skills, work location, and/or experience.
