Job Summary

The Project Controls Scheduler Southwest Region will develop and maintain integrated EPC schedules on a portfolio of projects ensuring timely and profitable completion. This role may include specialization by region or scope such as battery storage, high voltage or business development. Travel to job sites is required to support schedule development and maintenance.

Responsibilities & Duties

  • Use P6 software to develop realistic EPC project schedules.
  • Analyze project documents, design drawings, and contracts for schedule basis.
  • Perform quantity take-offs and maintain baseline development files and trackers.
  • Consult with engineering, procurement, project management, and field teams for feedback.
  • Apply CPM best practices ensuring sound logic and realistic durations.
  • Attend project meetings to update, address issues, and resolve scheduling challenges.
  • Update schedules bi-monthly, track deviations, and suggest corrective actions.
  • Maintain records, logs and prepare as built schedules reflecting actual conditions.
  • Conduct schedule analysis for what-if conditions, change orders and claims.
  • Train field personnel and support reporting efforts.

Minimum Requirements

Engineering, Construction Management, or Architectural degree; minimum 3 years in project engineering or related experience; prior scheduling experience in an EPC environment; proven ability with P6 Software; proficiency in MS Office; strong communication skills; reliable, flexible, and willing to travel.

Benefits & Compensation

Eligible for medical, dental, vision, life and disability insurance; 401(k) plan; vacation, sick and holiday pay. Salary ranges from $91,520 to $114,400 annually.
