Job Summary
The Project Assistant manages administrative support for the project management team and field office. This remote role involves traveling to jobsites as needed.
Position Responsibilities and Duties
- Assist with travel arrangements, planning itineraries, and scheduling meetings.
- Administer office and jobsite facilities and maintain inventory.
- Prepare, type, and distribute correspondence, reports, and meeting minutes.
- Maintain filing systems and input commitment data for cost reporting.
- Prepare and process commitment documents and track subcontractor communications.
- Follow job close-out procedures and archive project plans and files.
- Complete additional assigned responsibilities.
Minimum Skills or Experience Requirements
- High School Diploma or equivalent; additional secretarial training preferred.
- Minimum two years of secretarial or clerical experience.
- Keyboard speed of 45 wpm and proficiency with word-processing and spreadsheets.
- Strong verbal and written communication skills in English.
- Reliability, dependability, and flexibility.
Benefits and Compensation
Eligible for medical, dental, vision, life and disability insurance. Participate in a 401(k) plan and benefit from vacation, sick, and holiday pay. Compensation ranges from $23.78 to $29.72 hourly.
