Project Assistant Role

The Project Assistant is responsible for managing administrative support for the project management team and project field office to ensure efficient and accurate project documentation.

Responsibilities

  • Manage travel arrangements, itineraries, and meeting schedules.
  • Support administration of office and jobsite facilities.
  • Maintain inventory and order office supplies as needed.
  • Prepare correspondence, reports, and meeting minutes.
  • Maintain accurate filing systems and log documents.
  • Input commitment data into cost reporting systems.
  • Process purchase orders, subcontracts, and change orders.
  • Communicate with subcontractors and follow-up on orders.
  • Ensure job close-out procedures including archiving plans and files.

Minimum Skills & Experience

  • High School Diploma or equivalent.
  • At least two years of clerical or secretarial experience.
  • Keyboard proficiency at 45 wpm.
  • Strong command of word-processing and spreadsheet software.
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills in English.
  • Reliability, dependability, and flexibility.

Benefits & Compensation

Eligible for medical, dental, vision, basic life and disability insurance, a 401(k) plan and paid vacation, sick and holiday pay. Compensation is hourly, based on a range of $23.78 to $29.72.
