Project Assistant Role
The Project Assistant is responsible for managing administrative support for the project management team and project field office to ensure efficient and accurate project documentation.
Responsibilities
- Manage travel arrangements, itineraries, and meeting schedules.
- Support administration of office and jobsite facilities.
- Maintain inventory and order office supplies as needed.
- Prepare correspondence, reports, and meeting minutes.
- Maintain accurate filing systems and log documents.
- Input commitment data into cost reporting systems.
- Process purchase orders, subcontracts, and change orders.
- Communicate with subcontractors and follow-up on orders.
- Ensure job close-out procedures including archiving plans and files.
Minimum Skills & Experience
- High School Diploma or equivalent.
- At least two years of clerical or secretarial experience.
- Keyboard proficiency at 45 wpm.
- Strong command of word-processing and spreadsheet software.
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills in English.
- Reliability, dependability, and flexibility.
Benefits & Compensation
Eligible for medical, dental, vision, basic life and disability insurance, a 401(k) plan and paid vacation, sick and holiday pay. Compensation is hourly, based on a range of $23.78 to $29.72.
