Your Role as an AI/ML Engineer

As an AI/ML Engineer, you will be instrumental in designing and implementing intelligent solutions leveraging generative AI, agent-based architectures, and state-of-the-art methodologies. Your responsibilities will include utilizing LLM technologies, designing intelligent agents, optimizing complex workflows, and enhancing human-AI collaboration in practical customer applications. You will be involved across all project phases: from ideation and data exploration to solution design, production deployment, and continuous development.

Key Responsibilities in Practice

• Design and implement AI solutions for clients, such as enhancing customer service, developing information retrieval assistants, or streamlining document processing using LLM technology.
• Build cloud-based LLM and machine learning platforms, deploying models on public cloud providers like Azure, AWS, and GCP.
• Design and implement robust MLOps and CI/CD pipelines.
• Provide expert consulting and technical sparring to customers, often closely aligned with business needs and strategic decision-making.
• Collaborate effectively within a team of seasoned AI/ML architects, data scientists, and software developers.

While solutions are built collaboratively, this role offers significant autonomy to influence the overall solution from its inception.

What Helps You Succeed

• Proven hands-on experience in designing and implementing production-ready AI/ML solutions, particularly with generative AI and LLM technologies.
• Expertise in Generative AI and agent architectures: including LLM technologies (e.g., Azure OpenAI / Foundry, Databricks Agent Bricks, LangChain, Semantic Kernel), RAG methods, and multi-agent solutions.
• Experience with major cloud services (Azure / AWS / GCP) and building cloud infrastructure for ML using Infrastructure as Code (IaC) tools.
• Proficiency in production deployment and solution operations with technologies like Azure AI/ML Services, Databricks, MLOps/LLMOps, and evaluation/guardrail tools.
• Strong programming skills, especially in Python, with a background in Java or C# being a plus.
• Familiarity with CI/CD processes and DevOps methodologies.
• A genuine passion for solving complex customer needs and exploring cutting-edge technologies (e.g., multi-agent architectures, self-optimizing AI agents, advanced knowledge management).
• Fluent communication skills in both Finnish and English.
• A consultative approach, including the ability to actively listen, discuss, spar, and formulate comprehensive solution proposals.
