About the role

Senior Corporate Counsel

Solifi is seeking a Senior Corporate Counsel to provide legal counsel across its global organization. This role reports to the Chief Legal Officer and offers an excellent opportunity for a talented attorney to serve as a valued business counselor in a growth environment with a broad portfolio of corporate, commercial, and compliance responsibilities. The Corporate Counsel helps mitigate risk, enhance internal processes and procedures, and extend the interests of Solifi in its relations with customers, vendors, and strategic partners. This role provides strategic guidance and support to executive and senior management as well as leadership within the legal team.

The Solifi Legal team is a lean, collaborative, and business-focused partner supporting a fast-growing global financial technology organization. We provide practical, solutions-oriented counsel across GTM and commercial contracting, corporate governance, compliance, privacy, and risk management. By working closely with leaders and teams across the business—including GTM, customer success, finance, HR, product, and technology—we enable clear processes, informed decision-making, and effective risk mitigation. Our team plays an essential role in helping Solifi scale responsibly and efficiently while ensuring we meet our legal and regulatory obligations in a dynamic global environment.

Role and Responsibilities

Commercial Contracts & Business Partnerships

  • Draft, review, and negotiate a wide range of commercial agreements, including customer and partner SaaS contracts, proposals, and vendor agreements.
  • Manage commercial contracting activities in support of sales and business operations.
  • Partner closely with global sales and operations teams to support revenue-generating activities and ensure timely deal execution.
  • Provide practical, business-oriented legal advice that balances risk with commercial objectives.

Corporate, Compliance & Risk Management

  • Manage corporate and compliance initiatives for a global technology organization, including privacy and data protection, governance, artificial intelligence, intellectual property, and regulatory matters.
  • Assist in managing the company’s intellectual property portfolio and related processes.
  • Identify, assess, and communicate legal and business risks, providing actionable recommendations.

M&A, Disputes & External Counsel

  • Support mergers and acquisitions activities, including due diligence and post-transaction integration.
  • Assist in managing outside counsel to ensure effective, high-quality, and cost-efficient legal support.
  • Manage and support dispute resolution matters.

Cross-Functional Leadership & Operations

  • Lead and contribute to global process improvements, including in contract lifecycle management, compliance programs and M&A integration.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to enhance legal processes and operational efficiency.
  • Develop and deliver training to internal stakeholders on legal, compliance, and risk-related topics.

About You

  • Juris Doctor (JD) from an ABA-accredited U.S. law school and licensed to practice law in at least one U.S. jurisdiction.
  • 5+ years of relevant legal experience in a law firm and/or in-house legal department; additional experience in software, technology, or SaaS environments preferred.
  • Demonstrated ability to work effectively in a global, cross-functional environment.
  • Strong leadership presence with the ability to communicate confidently with senior and executive management, both internally and externally.
  • Proven success negotiating complex, long-term agreements, including with highly regulated customers.
  • Ability to assess legal risks and determine appropriate, business-aligned courses of action.
  • Skilled at translating legal concepts into practical business advice, including legal strategy and risk management.
  • Strong problem-solving skills with the ability to exercise sound legal and business judgment in complex situations.
  • Track record of building credibility and trust with global colleagues.
  • Comfortable working both independently and collaboratively in a team-oriented, fast-paced environment.
