Overview
Solenis, a leading global provider of water and hygiene solutions, is seeking a Global IT Category Leader. This role provides strategic leadership for enterprise-wide IT category sourcing across software, hardware, cloud, telecom, and IT services.
Key Responsibilities
- Category Leadership & Strategy: Set vision, governance framework, and operating model in IT sourcing.
- Executive Stakeholder Partnership: Act as a strategic partner to CIO and senior IT stakeholders.
- Strategic Sourcing & Commercial Excellence: Lead global sourcing negotiations and contract design.
- Supplier Ecosystem Control: Oversee global supplier relationships and drive innovation and improvement.
- Value Creation & Transformation: Optimize cost, productivity, and risk; drive digital transformation.
- Risk, Compliance & Responsibility: Manage cyber, data, geopolitical, and supply risks with compliance, ESG, and sustainable sourcing.
- Leadership Expectations: Mentor teams, foster collaboration and continuous improvement.
Qualifications & Experience
10+ years in IT procurement, category leadership, or strategic sourcing with deep understanding of software, cloud, infrastructure, and services. Proven experience in influencing senior executives and managing global, cross-functional initiatives along with strong commercial negotiation and analytical skills.
Location & Compensation
This role will ideally be located near Wilmington, DE or Charlotte, NC, but is open to the right candidate. The expected salary range is between 121500 and 202500 plus discretionary bonuses.
