The Banking Services Representative is focused on handling all updates to accounts, will be the main point of contact regarding account changes, and will play a critical role in determining merchant success and satisfaction through effective communication.
Duties And Responsibilities
- Provide high quality support to merchants by responding to inquiries
- Handle all account transactions such as rate updates, information changes and closing accounts
- Work closely with banks on resolving any outstanding issues
- Communicate with other departments on any unresolved matters
- Handle all fees that are associated with accounts and update as needed
- Work with banks on any rejections and resolve in a quick and efficient manner
- Work with merchants in a professional manner to handle all questions regarding their accounts
Requirements And Qualifications
- High school diploma or equivalent, Associate’s or Bachelor’s preferred
- 2-3+ years of related experience preferred
- Excellent telephone, interpersonal and verbal communication skills.
- Strong problem-solving and negotiation skills; handle difficult calls, identify and resolve/escalate complex problems
- Proven commitment to high quality customer service and a customer-first approach to problem solving
- Must be able to work independently with minimal supervision using pre-set company policies, procedures and standards as well as contractual agreements as guidelines for interaction and activity.
- Efficient time management skills to maximize the number of items that can be resolved while maintaining a high level of detail in notes and follow-up
- Must be able to work in a fast-paced environment as part of a team but assume ownership and responsibility for team and self-assigned work.
- Ability to enforce company policy
- Experience In the payments industry is required
- Proficient in Microsoft Office applications

Hybrid based out of our Brooklyn, NY office or Remote USA
Salary Range
$40-$50/hr
