Overview
The Pre-Sales Solutions Architect Data & AI at SoftwareOne plays a crucial role in designing and implementing scalable data analytics solutions on AWS. You will collaborate with cross-functional teams to solve complex business challenges through innovative data and AI-driven strategies.
Responsibilities
- Solution Design: Gather requirements, design end-to-end data analytics solutions, and create architectural diagrams.
- AWS Expertise: Leverage services like Amazon Redshift, EMR, Kinesis, Glue, and QuickSight for robust architectures.
- Data Modeling & Integration: Optimize data models and define ETL strategies ensuring data integrity and performance.
- Scalability & Performance: Architect scalable, high-performing and cost-efficient solutions tailored for various data volumes.
- Security & Compliance: Implement security measures and ensure compliance with industry standards.
- Troubleshooting & Optimization: Identify and resolve technical challenges including performance and data quality issues.
- Collaboration & Innovation: Work with data engineers, scientists, and business analysts while staying updated with industry trends.
Job Requirements
- 3+ years as a Solution Architect with deep AWS and data analytics expertise.
- Hands-on experience with AWS services such as Amazon Redshift, EMR, Kinesis, Glue, etc.
- Strong background in data modeling, ETL, data warehousing, and governance.
- Proficiency in Python, SQL and data transformation techniques.
- AWS Certifications (Solution Architect, Data Analytics Specialty or equivalent).
- Experience in pre-sales activities and Agile methodologies.
Additional Information
Reporting to the practice lead, you will assist in technical documentation, user requirements collection, and support deployment releases. This role demands strong communication skills and a capacity to work independently while managing multiple priorities.
