In your new role as a Strategic Account Acquisition Executive (SAAE), you will be the dynamic force helping businesses seize the myriad opportunities offered by digital transformation. Your primary objective is to acquire new client accounts while developing your territory and expanding your client base. You excel in team selling and easily adapt to meet evolving client needs. Your versatility and quick learning allow you to grasp others' perspectives and transform them into innovative solutions. By encouraging potential and existing clients to step out of their comfort zone, you not only help maintain but also strengthen our relationships. You will assist our clients in bridging gaps in their operations and achieving their goals through technology. Better yet, you'll do it alongside one of North America's most trusted technology services and solutions providers.

Your Responsibilities

  • The Strategic Account Acquisition Executive is responsible for a direct sales quota; you will focus your efforts on developing potential accounts by leveraging cold calling and acquisition strategies within an assigned territory.
  • Understand client needs, motivations, and potential objections to create an action plan for each agreed-upon target.
  • Collaborate with the Western US leadership team to develop a strategic sales plan and quarterly reviews that expand our presence in your target accounts.
  • Work closely with vendors and partners in an enterprise sales mindset.
  • Partner with leaders from major technology companies to develop creative and innovative solutions.
  • Continuously improve your business acumen, effectively manage the opportunity pipeline, and demonstrate leadership when challenges arise.
  • Manage all aspects of account management, including quote and order processing, and exceed client expectations until the account becomes profitable. A Client Account Manager (CAM) will then be assigned to assist you.
  • Increase revenue from $0 to XXXk by the end of 2026, at which point the Strategic Account Acquisition Executive (SAAE) position will be reclassified as a Commercial Account Executive (CAE), in accordance with the billing plan.

Your Skills

  • Over 5 years of industry experience, with well-established relationships with vendors and clients.
  • Experience in data centers, cloud, and networking.
  • Microsoft experience is a plus.
  • Demonstrated ability to sell products and services in hybrid cloud, AI, and modernization domains.
  • Demonstrated ability to build relationships within target accounts.
  • A strong understanding of infrastructure, network modernization, and digital transformation capabilities.
  • Experience in prospecting with a proven track record in new client acquisition.
  • Proven experience in achieving sales targets and market growth plans.
  • Active listening and the ability to adapt your pitch based on real-time client information.
  • Ability to provide exceptional customer service and consistently develop outstanding interpersonal relationships.
  • Extensive experience in selling solutions and creating value for clients.
  • The ability to solve problems and think outside the box.
  • Intrinsic motivation and the ability to work autonomously as well as in a team.
  • A high school diploma or equivalent.

Fluency in English is required for this position, as the candidate will need to collaborate daily with unilingual English-speaking colleagues and clients outside Quebec.
