Role Overview

The Director, Product Marketing is the CMO for SoFi's product, responsible for customer acquisition, go-to-market strategy, and engagement marketing for Insights. This high-visibility and high-impact role drives growth, optimizes channels, and creates compelling narratives to empower members.

Essential Functions & Responsibilities

  • Set marketing vision, strategy, and OKRs for Insights.
  • Own targets for customer acquisition, engagement, and monetization.
  • Manage budgets and analyze CAC, LTV/CAC with channel partners.
  • Optimize channel mix via collaboration with creative and channel teams.
  • Define target member, customer journey, and market segmentation.
  • Iterate on product positioning, messaging, and competitive differentiation.
  • Conduct consumer research to derive actionable insights.
  • Partner with Product Management to streamline customer experience.
  • Monitor market shifts, competitive threats, and external factors.

Qualifications

  • 8+ years of marketing experience with revenue responsibility.
  • Strong strategic and tactical execution skills.
  • Expertise in customer research and data-driven analytics.
  • Excellent storytelling and communication abilities.
  • Bachelor’s degree required; MBA encouraged.
