Recruitment Departments and Roles

• Compliance (CPLE) - SG Securities Compliance Department:
• Build internal control systems to ensure compliance with domestic and international laws and ethical standards across all business areas.
• Proactively manage and monitor reputational risk.
• Manage internal control systems for compliance with financial regulations.
• Respond preemptively to compliance risks (customer protection, market integrity, ethical management).
• Support inter-departmental collaboration and data submission for regulatory requests.
• Prepare and manage reports for domestic management, APAC headquarters, and French headquarters.
• Perform internal control tasks related to market surveillance, conflicts of interest, and anti-money laundering.
• Collaborate with APAC Compliance teams in Hong Kong.
• Provide advisory support on domestic laws and SG Group internal regulations.

• Global Banking and Advisory (GLBA)
• SG Bank ECA Finance Department (DSE) / Financial Advisory Group (FNA):
• DSE: Provide mid-to-long-term loans (guaranteed/insured by K-SURE and K-Sure) and Financial Advisory services for domestic and international project financing (CAPEX).
• FNA: Provide Project Financing and Financial Advisory services for projects in infrastructure, energy transition, data centers, etc.
• Conduct research on industry/market trends for new deal origination.
• Support marketing material creation for new client acquisition.
• Assist in post-deal management, including research for financial contracts and loan approvals, and report preparation.
• Support ESG project pipeline management and monthly ESG newsletter creation.
• Provide administrative support to the SG Seoul Branch ESG Champion team.
• Employment Period: Mid/Late June 2026 - December 31, 2026
• SG Bank Corporate Finance Department (COV):
• Identify financial needs of major domestic corporations and public institutions, and collaborate with global divisions to provide financing, client management, and opportunity discovery.
• Support COV team (maintaining existing and new clients, focusing on large domestic corporations and public institutions).
• Prepare documentation for financial support and internal credit approval processes related to clients' domestic and international business activities.
• Collaborate closely with Corporate Finance and Project departments worldwide within SG Bank to support clients.
• Analyze client portfolios and profitability, and prepare related reports.
• Assist with KYC (Know Your Client) and FRA (Fraud Risk Assessment) tasks.
• Employment Period: Late May 2026 - December 31, 2026
• Global Markets (MARK)
• SG Bank Fixed Income & Currencies Sales (FIC Sales):
• Trade and intermediate foreign exchange and interest rate derivatives with major domestic financial institutions and large corporations.
• Support sales representatives in managing FX and interest rate derivatives, FX options, and structured swaps by verifying pre-trade limits.
• Produce marketing materials for financial products, translate and distribute daily FX and financial market trend information, and handle various administrative tasks.
• Employment Period: Mid/Late June 2026 - December 31, 2026
• SG Bank Fixed Income & Currencies Trading (FIC Trading):
• Trade foreign exchange and interest rate derivatives with major domestic financial institutions and offshore hedge funds.
• Assist the lead trader by verifying trade conditions and booking/confirmation of derivatives.
• Prepare post-market trading position reports and client order reports, and handle administrative tasks.
• Employment Period: Mid/Late June 2026 - December 31, 2026
• SG Securities Equities & Derivatives Agency Sales (EQD Sales):
• Engage in trading and intermediation of equities and derivatives with major domestic and international financial institutions.
• Support sales representatives in equities, derivatives, and clearing trades by verifying trade and settlement details.
• Create marketing materials for financial products, prepare and translate financial market trend information, and handle administrative tasks.
• Employment Period: Mid/Late June 2026 - December 31, 2026
• SG Securities Equities & Derivatives Trading (EQD Trading):
• Engage in trading of equities and equity derivatives.
• Prepare and report on news, corporate disclosures, and market updates.
• Prepare and report regular reports on trading positions and market trends.
• Conduct pre-trade risk simulations and verify trade bookings and confirmations.
• Employment Period: Mid/Late June 2026 - December 31, 2026
• SG Securities Cross Asset Solution Sales (XAS Sales):
• Trade and intermediate derivatives and structured bonds related to equities, interest rates, currencies, and credit with financial institutions.
• Support sales representatives in derivatives and structured bond trades by verifying trade and settlement details.
• Prepare and translate macroeconomic trend reports for financial markets and marketing materials related to derivatives.
• Employment Period: Mid/Late June 2026 - June 30, 2027
• Risk Management (RISQ) - SG Bank Risk Management Department:
• Identify, measure, monitor, approve, and control risks associated with branch activities.
• Oversee risk management matters for Markets (MARK), Global Banking and Advisory (GLBA), and Global Transaction & Payment Services (GTPS) departments.
• Monitor market activities of trading desks for various financial products (interest rate products, FX, derivatives).
• Monitor various risks (including credit & liquidity risk) for project finance, trade finance, and other products.
• Prepare and distribute daily risk reports related to the SG Bank Seoul Branch portfolio.
• Prepare and submit regulatory reports related to market, credit, and operational risk management.
• Collaborate with various risk teams in SG's Asia division in Hong Kong.
• Employment Period: Mid/Late June 2026 - December 31, 2026

Required Qualifications

• Students with at least 15 additional credit hours remaining as of end of June 2026 (4-year university program).
• Students able to commit to full-time work during the specified employment period.
• Students with basic knowledge of English, MS-Office, business, and economics.
