About the role
DevOps Cloud Developer
Are you passionate about coding and motivated by Infrastructure, Python, Continuous Delivery, DevOps, and Open Source? Join our Feature Team dedicated to developing the Group's global private cloud!
Your Daily Missions:
As a DevOps Cloud Developer, you will contribute to the Cloud Infrastructure as a Service (IaaS) offerings used across all our IT departments. Under the guidance of your mentor or manager, your responsibilities will include:
- Developing Cloud services using Open Source tools and market standards (Jira, GitHub, Jenkins, Sonar, Ansible) within an Agile framework (Scrum or Kanban).
- Contributing to the establishment of standards, best practices in development, development engineering, and software architecture for your service.
- Participating in maintaining services in operational conditions through a Continuous Deployment process, including creating 'On Demand' environments.
- Administering the compute services of Société Générale's private cloud, based on OpenStack.
- Contributing to various open-source communities, particularly OpenStack.
- Implementing automated support solutions (Bots, Machine Learning).
About You:
- You are pursuing a Master's degree (Bac +4/+5) in Business, Engineering, or University with a specialization in IT.
- You have an interest in and possibly experience with cloud services from hyperscalers (AWS, Microsoft Azure, Google Cloud Platform, OVH) – this is a plus!
- You are proficient with various open-source technologies, system administration, Linux, Kubernetes, Continuous Integration/Continuous Delivery, Ansible, Terraform, Git, Monitoring, Prometheus, Python, etc.
- You are a clear communicator, a good listener, enjoy teamwork, and thrive in a dynamic, international environment.
- You are fluent in English.
