Job Description

Lead Automation Tester

Société Générale Global Solution Centre is seeking a Lead Automation Tester with a strong background in Java and microservices. This role involves ensuring the quality and reliability of our software through comprehensive testing strategies.

Responsibilities

  • Proficient in Java versions: 8, 11, 17, 21.
  • Experience with Back-end technologies: Spring Boot (v2.x, v3.x), Spring Framework (Web MVC v5.x, v6.x), Spring Data, Spring Cloud, Spring Security, Spring Integration, Spring AMQP.
  • Experience with Front-end technologies: Angular (v>12) is a plus.
  • Good knowledge of microservice development patterns and architectures.
  • Familiarity with Docker, Kubernetes, or Openshift (v3/4).
  • Knowledge of pair programming, continuous integration, and test-driven development (TDD).
  • Experience with design and modeling of relational databases (Oracle, PostgreSQL, MySQL) and NoSQL databases.
  • Proficiency with collaboration tools such as GIT.
  • Adherence to Agile methodologies.
  • Ability to work collaboratively in a team, acting proactively.
  • Solution-oriented with the ability to work under pressure and meet deadlines.
  • Strong analytical and communication skills.

Experience Required

  • Minimum 3 years in development using Spring (Boot & Cloud) framework & microservices.
  • Minimum 4 years in IT projects.
