DevSecOps Engineer

About the Role: DevSecOps Engineer at Societe Generale Global Solution Centre

At Societe Generale Global Solution Centre, we are seeking a skilled DevSecOps Engineer to design, implement, and maintain robust automated pipelines for application development and deployment. This role focuses on integrating security practices directly into the DevOps lifecycle, ensuring compliance and optimal performance across all systems.

Key Responsibilities

• Continuous Integration and Continuous Deployment (CI/CD): Design, implement, and maintain automated pipelines for building, testing, and deploying applications efficiently.
• Infrastructure as Code (IaC): Manage and provision infrastructure using code and automation tools such as Terraform and Ansible, ensuring consistency and scalability.
• Monitoring and Logging: Establish and maintain comprehensive monitoring, alerting, and logging systems to proactively ensure application and infrastructure health and performance.
• Security and Compliance: Embed security practices (DevSecOps) into all DevOps processes, rigorously ensuring compliance with both organizational and regulatory standards.
• Performance Optimization: Continuously analyze and optimize system performance, resource utilization, and efficiency across the environment.
• Incident Management: Actively respond to and efficiently resolve system outages or failures, conducting thorough root cause analysis to prevent recurrence.
• Automation: Identify and automate repetitive tasks to significantly improve operational efficiency and minimize errors throughout the development and deployment lifecycle.

Required Profile

Technical Skills

• Proficiency with leading CI/CD tools, including Jenkins and GitLab.
• Solid experience with configuration management tools, such as Ansible.
• Familiarity with major cloud platforms like AWS, Azure, and GCP.
• Strong scripting and programming skills, particularly in Python and Bash.
• Comprehensive understanding of networking, security principles, and system administration.

• Excellent effective communication and collaboration skills.
• High adaptability and a genuine willingness to learn new technologies.
