Sustainable Technology Researcher Internship

Overview

This Learn-by-Doing internship at Societe Generale Global Solution Centre Romania offers hands-on experience in Sustainable Technology, Responsible AI, and modern education initiatives. The role focuses on producing a youth-focused report on sustainable tech principles and proposing a technology training standard for Citizenship education projects. You will work under the guidance of the CSR Head and in consultation with internal stakeholders throughout the 6-month contract.

What You Will Do

Sustainable Technology & Responsible AI

• Review key literature on sustainable tech and responsible AI, such as OECD guidance.
• Consult with IT specialists within SG GSC to understand existing good practices.
• Organize a student dialogue across the GCOO perimeter to collect insights on AI expectations and principles.
• Produce a concise report that combines research findings with student perspectives.
• Present the report’s findings to a key stakeholder group within the GCOO CSR community.

Education Projects Reform

• Alongside COMM and Citizenship specialists of GSC Romania, analyze existing Citizenship education projects and their theory of change.
• Research best practices in digital and AI literacy for teachers and students.
• Propose a modern technology training standard and present actionable recommendations.

Profile Required

The ideal candidate for the Sustainable Technology Researcher Internship will possess:

• High school student or graduate in Technology, Education, Social Sciences, Communications, or related fields.
• Strong research and analytical skills.
• A genuine interest in technology, AI, sustainability, and education.
• Excellent communication and presentation skills.
• Good command of both written and spoken English and French languages.
• Experience in student dialogue/talks, international presentations, or events is a plus.
