Startup Founder Team - Ski Industry

Snowgroup is actively seeking independent operators and builders to join our Startup Founder Team, focusing on developing the first full-stack digital ecosystem for winter sports travel. We're looking for passionate individuals who can drive projects forward and take ownership in a fast-paced, remote-first environment.

About Snowgroup

The Mission (and how you fit)

This initiative covers multiple roles because Snowgroup is building an entire ecosystem. We need sharp, independent operators and builders capable of taking significant ownership in one or more of the following key areas:

  • Sales – Vendor & Outreach: Identify and engage vendors (rentals, lessons, lodging, experiences), manage outreach, qualify partners, and guide them through the onboarding process to go 'live'.
  • Designer – Illustration & Brand Design: Produce compelling visual assets, including campaign graphics, brand elements, social media assets, simple motion graphics, and lightweight collateral, to establish Snowgroup's iconic brand presence.
  • Designer – UI: Contribute to the actual product experience by shaping user flows, designing components, developing mobile-first layouts, enhancing marketplace UX, and ensuring clean execution in Figma.
  • CRM – Email Marketing Outreach: Oversee outbound and lifecycle email marketing execution, including audience segmentation, sequence development, deliverability hygiene, reporting, and converting the customer database into active engagement.
  • AI Specialist Architect: Design the architectural framework for our personalization layer (translating intent into recommendations), structure data effectively, and develop a practical implementation strategy.
  • Technical Writers – Scoping: Bring clarity to complex ideas by creating precise product specifications, detailed workflow documentation, user stories, vendor onboarding playbooks, and articulating 'what are we building + why'.
  • General Operations & Admin: Ensure smooth daily operations through scheduling, follow-ups, research, CRM cleanup, document organization, task tracking, and providing leverage to founders.

What You’ll Do (high level)

Regardless of your specific role, you are expected to:

  • Advance projects proactively without requiring perfect information.
  • Communicate clearly and effectively in an asynchronous (Slack / ClickUp / docs) environment.
  • Maintain organized, traceable, and shippable work.
  • Collaborate closely with Marketing, Product, and Operations teams.
  • Build tangible momentum rather than just conceptual plans.

What We’re Looking For

  • Self-starters who demonstrate strong follow-through.
  • Comfortable with ambiguity and rapid iteration.
  • Clear communicators (both written and async).
  • Possessing high standards, low ego, and genuine ownership energy.
  • Bonus if you are connected to ski/snow/outdoor culture.

Engagement Details

  • 4–8 week pilot contract (part-time or flexible schedule).
  • Deferred compensation (paid upon successful raise), with equity/bonus considerations post-raise.
  • Remote and async-friendly work environment.
  • Direct collaboration with founders and the core team.
  • Start: ASAP.
