Role Overview - Solutions Architect
Within Snowflake Professional Services, Solutions Architects engage with customers at every phase of the customer journey. They advise technical and executive stakeholders, write code, construct solution architectures, and guide customers to achieve impactful outcomes.
Key Responsibilities
- Engage directly with customers individually and in teams.
- Advise on implementing and optimizing the Snowflake platform.
- Write code, design solutions, and provide technical recommendations.
- Extract business requirements and develop actionable execution plans.
- Collaborate with GTM and product teams to align customer goals.
Ideal Candidate Profile
The ideal candidate has a BA/BS in a technical field, at least 5 years of experience as a solutions architect or similar role, and 3 years in technical consulting. Experience in analytics projects, coding in SQL, Python, Java, or Spark, and a deep understanding of large-scale database technologies are key.
Additional Qualifications
- Experience in a product company's services organization.
- Leadership in executing technical projects.
- Industry vertical expertise in sectors such as Media, Financial Services, or Healthcare.
- Cloud certification (AWS, Google, or Microsoft) and Snowflake Snowpro Advanced Certification.
Compensation and Benefits
The estimated base salary range is $128,000 - $178,500 with bonus and equity eligibility. Comprehensive benefits include medical, dental, vision, life and disability insurance, 401(k), paid holidays, time off, parental leave, and more.
