Role Overview

As the Solutions Architect, Migrations at Snowflake, you will lead complex migrations from legacy systems to the Snowflake platform. You will partner with customers and system integrators to design robust migration strategies, deploy best practices, and ensure smooth transitions with minimal disruption.

Responsibilities

  • Design comprehensive migration plans tailored to customer needs.
  • Act as the technical expert during implementation and knowledge transfer.
  • Collaborate with system integrators and internal teams for deployment success.
  • Create presentations, document learnings, and develop utilities for streamlined migrations.
  • Contribute to product and marketing improvements with cross-team collaboration.

Ideal Candidate

The ideal candidate has a minimum of 5 years of experience as a solutions architect, data architect, DBA, or data engineer. Experience in migrating data platforms, a strong working knowledge of data warehouse systems (such as Snowflake, BigQuery, Teradata, etc.), and expertise in SQL and scripting languages is essential. A relevant university degree or equivalent experience is required.

Additional Qualifications

  • Experience in technical consulting and working with non-relational platforms.
  • Familiarity with BI tools and large-scale cloud infrastructure services (AWS, Azure, GCP).
  • SnowPro Core Certification is a plus.

Compensation & Benefits

The base salary for this role ranges from $128,000 to $178,500, with eligibility for bonus and equity plans. A comprehensive benefits package is offered, including medical, dental, vision, life and disability insurance, 401(k) retirement plan, paid time off, and more.

Work Arrangement

This is a 100% remote role open to candidates based anywhere in the United States.
