About the Role
Snowflake empowers enterprises and people to achieve their full potential. As a Solution Engineer - Data Engineering Specialist, you will provide technical leadership, design architecture, and integrate the Snowflake Cloud Data Platform into enterprise data ecosystems.
Key Responsibilities
- Leverage multi-cloud data architecture expertise to engage executives and technical teams.
- Conduct compelling demonstrations, proof of concepts, and strategic design sessions.
- Work directly with the sales team to navigate winning sales cycles.
- Utilize reference architectures for data ingestion, transformation, and lakehouse workloads.
- Collaborate with Product Management, Engineering, and Marketing to enhance offerings.
Required Experience and Skills
- 10+ years of architecture and data engineering experience in enterprise data.
- 5+ years in a pre-sales environment (Sales Engineer, Solutions Architect, etc.).
- Outstanding presentation skills for technical and executive audiences.
- Experience with large-scale databases, ETL, analytics, and cloud technologies.
- Hands on expertise in SQL, Python, Spark, Hadoop, and related big data technologies.
- Familiarity with data integration tools and streaming technologies such as Kafka.
- Experience with designing interoperable data lakehouse architectures.
- Bachelor’s Degree required; advanced degree preferred.
