The Senior Solution Engineer plays an essential role on the field team by connecting customer business challenges with Snowflake’s cutting-edge data solutions.

Responsibilities

• Present Snowflake technology and vision to executives and technical audiences.
• Work directly with prospects and customers throughout the sales cycle.
• Maintain deep knowledge of competitive and complementary technologies.
• Collaborate with Product, Engineering, and Marketing for continuous improvement.
• Develop trust and advocate for the customer’s technical needs.

Minimum Requirements

• 10+ years in a customer facing sales engineering role.
• Strong competency in modern data stacks and ETL/ELT processes.
• Expertise in data warehouse/lake, data science, and analytics.
• Outstanding presentation skills to technical and executive audiences.
• Hands-on expertise with SQL; Python is a bonus.

Strong Desirables

• Data Science knowledge and university degree in relevant fields.
• Software development in Java, Spark, and scripting languages.
• Experience with large-scale databases and cloud data platforms.
• Successful track record selling data/analytics software to enterprises.
• Understanding of the Philippines market and technology ecosystem.

Added Bonuses

• Experience in Data Science/AI/ML and BI tools like Tableau or PowerBI.
• Cloud provider experience with AWS, Azure, or Google Cloud.
• Familiarity with native services like AWS S3, Glue, or Azure Blob Storage.
• Experience in OLAP modeling, SaaS enterprise sales, and startup success.
