As a Designated Support Engineer at Snowflake, you will use your expertise to deliver exceptional support and technical guidance on the Snowflake AI Data Cloud to designated Priority Support customers.

Key Responsibilities

  • Manage multiple designated customer accounts.
  • Conduct regular touchpoints and executive-level technical briefings.
  • Collaborate with Technical Account Managers and cross-functional teams.
  • Investigate issues using Snowflake environment, connectors, and third-party tools.
  • Proactively identify recommendations to improve product quality and customer experience.
  • Provide on-call and holiday support as needed.

Requirements

Applicants must be flexible with schedule changes. A strong background in enterprise-level technical support in a 24x7 environment is required. Candidates should have extensive experience with technical escalations, incident management, and support for RDBMS, SQL, and database release management.

Ideal Candidate Profile

  • Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Computer Science or related field.
  • 8+ years experience in technical support or similar roles.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
  • Ability to debug and troubleshoot complex SQL queries.
  • Strong familiarity with data warehousing, ETL, database migration, and cloud ecosystems.

Special Requirements

Availability for schedule changes, including on-call and weekend support, is mandatory.

Benefits and Compensation

The estimated base salary range for this role is $135,000 - $189,000, plus bonus and equity options. Comprehensive benefits include medical, dental, vision, life, and disability insurance; 401(k) retirement plan; flexible spending accounts; and paid time off among others.
