At Snowflake, the Designated Support Engineer plays a key role in delivering exceptional technical support to Priority Support customers. This role provides expert guidance on the effective use of the Snowflake AI Data Cloud, while serving as the voice of the customer to product and engineering teams.

Responsibilities

  • Manage multiple designated customer accounts and provide executive-level technical briefings.
  • Establish regular touchpoints and lead problem-solving sessions for complex issues.
  • Collaborate with Technical Account Managers and participate in weekly account reviews.
  • Utilize Snowflake environment tools and third-party software for issue investigation.
  • Report documented bugs and feature requests to Engineering teams.
  • Participate in global initiatives to improve product quality and customer experience.
  • Provide support coverage during holidays and weekends as needed.

Requirements

  • Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Computer Science or equivalent discipline.
  • 8+ years of experience in a technical support or customer-facing role in enterprise environments.
  • Strong experience in handling technical escalations, incident management, and on-call responsibilities.
  • Excellent communication and writing skills in English with attention to detail.
  • Deep understanding of RDBMS, SQL, and data warehousing fundamentals including ETL/ELT processes.
  • Familiarity with cloud service providers, CI/CD platforms, and scripting languages.

Special Requirements

Applicants must be flexible with schedule changes and have strong enterprise-level support experience.

Compensation & Benefits

The estimated base salary range for this role is $135,000 - $189,000, along with eligibility for bonus, equity plans, and a competitive benefits package including medical, dental, vision, insurance, 401(k), paid time off and more.
