About the Snowmaker Training Program

Snowflake’s pre-sales organization is seeking an Associate Sales Engineer to join the Snowmaker training program. This six-month program provides comprehensive technical and sales skills training through classroom sessions, shadowing, and mentorship from experienced sales and pre-sales leaders.

Role Responsibilities

  • Present Snowflake technology and vision to executives and technical contributors.
  • Leverage domain knowledge to align Snowflake’s value with customer needs.
  • Work alongside SEs, prospects, and customers to demonstrate Snowflake technology throughout the sales cycle.
  • Maintain a deep understanding of competitive products and position Snowflake accordingly.
  • Collaborate with Product Management, Engineering, and Marketing for continuous improvement.
  • Provide post-sales technical guidance to drive customer success and digital transformation.
  • Contribute to global and regional Sales Engineering initiatives.

Required Qualifications

  • A deep interest in translating customer needs into technical solutions.
  • Passion for technology with a willingness to learn in a fast-paced environment.
  • Ability to present technical topics effectively to varied audiences.
  • A university degree in Computer Science, Engineering, Mathematics or related fields, or equivalent experience.
  • Industry or internship experience in data analytics, pre-sales, solution architecture, or data engineering.
  • Hands-on experience with SQL, Python, Scala, Spark, Java, cloud technology, or data analytics is a plus.
  • A strong desire to pursue a career in Sales Engineering.
