Position Overview

As a Senior Counsel, you will be a key legal advisor for Snap, partnering with Legal, Finance, Strategy, People, and other cross-functional teams on complex legal issues globally.
Key Responsibilities
- Advise on equity compensation, benefits programs, insider trading prevention, and SEC filings.
- Manage corporate governance including board committees and corporate documentation.
- Support environmental, social, and governance initiatives and corporate responsibility reports.
- Draft, review, and structure bespoke transactions and legal documents.
- Collaborate across teams on legal, business strategies, and risk management.
Knowledge, Skills, and Experience
Applicants need strong business judgment, the ability to simplify complex legal topics, and a collaborative approach. A detail-oriented, legal-business mindset and capability to work under tight deadlines in a dynamic environment are essential.
Minimum Qualifications
- J.D. from an accredited university
- Active membership in at least one state bar
- 8+ years practicing corporate law
- At least one year as in-house counsel
Work Environment & Benefits
