Job Overview
As a Security Engineer - Threat Intelligence at Snap Inc., based in Sydney, you will track advanced threat actors and design robust security solutions. Working with global teams from the US to Switzerland, you will adopt a threat-informed engineering mindset.
Key Responsibilities
- Identify and analyze emerging adversary tactics and techniques.
- Track and model threat actors and campaigns affecting Snap Inc.
- Research and develop innovative detection and response capabilities.
- Leverage AI and automation to build scalable intelligence systems.
- Design, pilot, and implement logging and alerting systems.
- Lead incident response and collaborate across teams.
- Partner with global stakeholders to improve security capabilities.
Knowledge, Skills & Abilities
Experience in threat intelligence, threat hunting, digital forensics, malware analysis, and incident response. Proficient in Python and/or Go with deep understanding of operating system internals (macOS, Windows, Linux) and cloud infrastructures such as Kubernetes, Google Cloud Platform, and Amazon Web Services.
Qualifications
Bachelor of Science in Computer Science or related field and 3+ years of relevant experience. Ability to provide accommodations if needed.
