The Legal & Policy Team
The Legal & Policy Team serves as Snap's in-house legal and policy advisory, consultant, lobbyist, and thought partner. This team ensures Snap operates ethically and legally, manages risks, and navigates challenges. We collaborate across various matters including privacy, product, IP, commercial transactions, corporate governance, employment, acquisitions, litigation, and social impact. About the Role: Manager, Compliance Investigations
We are seeking a highly skilled Manager, Compliance Investigations to join Snap's Integrity & Compliance Team. This role plays a critical part in upholding Snap's ethical standards and mitigating risks. This position can be based in Santa Monica, CA; San Francisco, CA; Bellevue, WA; or New York.
What You’ll Do:
Case Management and Investigations
- Triage and scope all Integrity and Compliance (I&C) cases, assigning appropriate cases and collaborating with stakeholders on owned investigations.
- Gather essential case materials from HR, Legal, InfoSec, Global Security, and various business partners.
- For externally managed investigations, you will select and manage outside counsel, providing necessary materials, defining scope, identifying interview subjects, reviewing findings, and recommending remediation.
- For internally managed investigations, you will develop comprehensive plans with stakeholders, conduct subject and witness interviews, draft and share findings, and develop actionable remediation recommendations.
- Maintain thorough and current documentation across all relevant systems for every case.
- Oversee Snap’s confidential helpline and case management systems.
- Contribute actively to the continuous improvement of Snap’s investigations program and established procedures.
- Uphold the highest level of discretion and confidentiality throughout all interactions and investigative processes.
Reporting
- Maintain accurate and up-to-date reports for all I&C cases.
- Draft concise case summaries as required for various reporting purposes.
- Identify emerging patterns, trends, and potential risks from investigations, recommending proactive measures to mitigate future compliance risks.
Ethics Program Support
- Handle diverse responsibilities related to Snap's comprehensive ethics program.
- Update relevant policies and procedures to ensure accuracy and compliance.
- Respond promptly and effectively to team member inquiries.
- Review and draft responses pertaining to conflict of interest disclosures.
Minimum Qualifications
- Bachelor’s Degree is required.
- 6+ years of experience in In-House, Law Firm, or Government investigation roles.
- Possess a strong work ethic and a team-first mindset, willing to undertake tasks of all sizes.
Preferred Qualifications
- Demonstrated experience in developing, drafting, or investigating violations of Codes of Conduct, Whistleblower policies, Anti-Bribery regulations, and other standard company integrity and compliance policies.

Compensation
The base salary range for this position in Zone A (CA, WA, NYC) is $157,000-$235,000 annually. This position is also eligible for equity in the form of RSUs.
