The Finance Team at Snap Inc. encompasses Finance Business Partnership, Accounting, Finance Operations, Financial Systems, Internal Audit, Tax, Treasury, and Investor Relations. This team partners with leadership to provide critical insights, information, and guidance for strategic and operational decisions, communicates business progress to investors, and ensures the company's financial health and reporting compliance.

We are seeking a Financial Analyst to join our dynamic Finance Business Partnership team.

What you'll do:

• Support Engineering and Operations teams in decision-making by providing insights that translate into actionable business and product recommendations.
• Produce relevant financial reporting packages and perform ad hoc analyses and presentations for Business Partners and Finance teams.
• Prepare weekly, monthly, and quarterly business performance and forecast reports.
• Contribute to quarterly forecasting, annual budgeting, and long-range financial planning processes.
• Participate in cross-functional projects with business and finance teams from inception to completion.

Knowledge, Skills & Abilities:

• Exceptional analytical and problem-solving skills, with a self-directed approach and high standards for work quality.
• Proven financial modeling experience, including proficiency with Excel or similar tools, and preferred SQL experience.
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills to articulate complex financial information clearly.
• A proactive team-player capable of multitasking, creative thinking, and rapid learning in a fast-paced environment.
• Solid understanding of GAAP accounting, enabling accurate forecasting of income statement intricacies.

Minimum qualifications:

• Bachelor’s degree in finance, economics, engineering, or a related quantitative field.
• 2+ years of relevant professional experience.

Preferred qualifications:

• Experience within the tech or digital media industries.
• Strong analytical skills, with experience using Looker, SQL, and Tableau highly valued.

Compensation:

In the United States, work locations are categorized into pay zones, which determine the salary range. The starting pay for the successful candidate will be based on job-related skills, experience, qualifications, work location, and market conditions, and may be negotiable within the specified range. This position is also eligible for equity in the form of Restricted Stock Units (RSUs).
