About the Team/Role

We are seeking an Account Manager to join our global Small and Medium Customers (SMC) organization. This role is within the Sales team, operating in a dynamic, fast-paced environment. The ideal candidate will possess a creative mindset, strong detail orientation, and strategic acumen to build and nurture long-term business partnerships with brands and their agencies.

What You'll Do

  • Build, manage, and expand relationships and advertising spend with key clients and agency partners, ensuring campaign performance exceeds advertiser expectations.
  • Collaborate with account executives and creative strategists during the RFP process to craft innovative, data-driven digital campaigns on Snapchat, delivering measurable ROI for clients.
  • Oversee projects involving intricate workflows and cross-functional teamwork, both internally and externally.
  • Conduct in-depth analysis of campaign performance data; establish KPI-driven measurement strategies, identify performance trends, optimize campaigns for optimal results, and pinpoint upsell opportunities.
  • Act as a product expert, educating brands and agencies on Snap's new and existing products, while offering best practices and customized campaign optimization advice.
  • Promote the adoption and engagement of Snap’s self-service platform and auction-based tools, providing continuous technical support and real-time analysis.

Knowledge, Skills & Abilities

  • Solid understanding of advertising performance metrics and the broader advertising ecosystem.
  • Proficiency in media management within a biddable auction advertising environment, with demonstrated ability to educate others (e.g., advertisers, agencies).
  • Strong command of Excel and PowerPoint, coupled with experience in analyzing datasets and generating actionable insights.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
  • Superior organizational and prioritization capabilities.
  • Adeptness at collaborating effectively with cross-functional teams and all levels of management, both internal and external.
  • Capacity to manage multiple projects concurrently with meticulous attention to detail.
  • Ability to thrive in a fast-paced environment and readily adapt to change.

Minimum Qualifications

  • Bachelor's degree in business, communications, marketing, or a related field, or equivalent practical experience.
  • 3+ years of proven experience transforming complex data into compelling data stories that enhance campaign performance.
  • 3+ years of experience engaging with clients to comprehend brand strategy, product attributes, main competitors, and critical business challenges, while performing in-depth data analysis to inform both short-term and long-term strategies.
  • Experience within the digital media industry, with a focus on performance and brand marketing, ad-tech, programmatic advertising in real-time bidding marketplaces, or a closely related area.

Preferred Qualifications

  • Established relationships with client decision-makers and brand marketers.
  • A proven track record of consistently meeting sales quotas and receiving positive performance reviews.
  • Genuine passion for Snapchat as a user and in-depth knowledge of our advertising products.
