SMX is actively seeking a highly skilled Senior Pricing Analyst to join its expanding Pricing team. This is a crucial, high-visibility role, demanding interaction with all organizational levels. This position operates entirely remotely.

The Senior Pricing Analyst will play a lead role in strategic and competitive pricing discussions, working closely with various internal stakeholders. Key responsibilities include evaluating opportunity-specific pricing requirements for both prime and subcontract activities, as well as developing comprehensive pricing and cost narratives for Federal Government and commercial proposals.

Essential Duties and Responsibilities

• Interpret government solicitation pricing requirements accurately to develop and submit compliant, competitive proposals.
• Collaborate effectively with peers, management, proposal teams, and customers, managing multiple pricing efforts simultaneously.
• Provide expert training and assistance in the development of Basis of Estimate (BOE), ensuring proper justifications/rationale, and applying sound estimating techniques.
• Ensure full understanding and adherence to company policies and practices for proposal preparation and submission.
• Facilitate functional and executive-level reviews, prepare insightful financial presentations, and maintain strict compliance with company policies, processes, gates, and approvals.

Required Skills and Experience

• Bachelor's degree coupled with 10+ years of dedicated experience in Federal Government contracting (GovCon) pricing assessment, analysis, and build-up.
• Demonstrated experience across diverse federal agencies, encompassing both civilian and Department of Defense (DoD) contracts.
• A proactive, adaptable team player with strong organizational and problem-solving capabilities.
• Advanced proficiency in MS Excel, including but not limited to pivot tables, array formulas, and VLOOKUPs.
• Thorough knowledge of Federal Acquisition Regulation (FAR), Defense Federal Acquisition Regulation Supplement (DFAR), and Cost Accounting Standards (CAS).
• Exceptional attention to detail, organizational prowess, computational accuracy, and research skills.
• Experience utilizing salary and compensation benchmarking tools.
• Flexibility to work unscheduled/extended hours and travel as necessary to meet critical deadlines.
• Proven ability to manage competing priorities and handle multiple tasks effectively in a fast-paced environment.
• Clearance Required: None. US citizenship is a prerequisite for work on DoD contracts.
