The Opportunity
The Picker/Packer will play a key role in the efficient distribution of warehouse deliveries and arrivals. The starting rate is $18-$19 per hour. How You Will Impact Smurfit Westrock Packaging Solutions
- Handle pick tickets/orders to pull items from warehouse inventory.
- Utilize RF guns and other electronic equipment.
- Physically pull warehouse items according to specified requirements (number, size, color, quantity, quality).
- Compare and inspect physical items pulled against pick ticket/order requirements.
- Pack/wrap orders and prepare them for shipment.
- Transport orders to shipping locations using proper material handling equipment.
- Ensure orders are staged correctly for each delivery.
- Operate material handling equipment following safety guidelines.
- Assist in maintaining warehouse security and safety.
- May assist in placing incoming items into inventory.
- Agility to stand and walk for extended periods.
- Capacity to lift and carry up to 50lbs intermittently.
- Adherence to established safety guidelines.
- Assist with warehouse inventory counts.
- Other duties as assigned.

- High school diploma or equivalent.
- One or more years of experience coordinating shipments in a warehousing or distribution environment.
- Ability to perform tasks under pressure and within deadlines.
- Attention to detail for accurate picking and customer satisfaction.
- General fluency in English (verbal and written).
