Role Overview
The Test Technician II – Product Testing reports to the Lab Manager within the Innovation Group. The role involves assembling prototype mechanical seals, conducting tests, analyzing results to ensure prototypes meet specifications, troubleshooting, supporting test equipment design, and maintaining a safe and organized work environment.
Key Responsibilities
- Interpret prototype drawings and test specifications.
- Assist product teams in creating test plans and experiments.
- Assemble prototypes and conduct R&D testing.
- Record, analyze, and report test data.
- Perform fault finding and root cause analysis (RCA).
- Maintain safety, 5S organization, and risk assessments.
- Manage inventory for New Product Development projects.
Qualifications
- Technical Degree (2–3 years).
- 2+ years’ hands-on experience in a technical/mechanical role.
- Apprenticeship or relevant academic project/hobby experience.
- Strong teamwork, communication, and problem-solving skills.
