About the Role: Swift Engineer at SME Careers

As a remote, hourly paid Swift Engineer at SME Careers, you will play a crucial role in enhancing AI models by reviewing AI-generated responses and creating high-quality, Swift and iOS-focused content. Your responsibilities include evaluating the reasoning quality and step-by-step problem-solving behind each AI solution, ensuring accuracy, clarity, and adherence to prompts. You will identify methodological and conceptual errors, fact-check technical details, and develop expert-level explanations and model solutions that demonstrate correct approaches in Swift and iOS. Additionally, you will rate and compare multiple AI responses based on their correctness and reasoning quality.

SME Careers, a fast-growing AI Data Services company and subsidiary of SuperAnnotate, provides essential AI training data to leading AI companies and foundation model labs, contributing to the improvement of premier AI models globally. This is a contract role.

Key Responsibilities

• Develop AI Training Content: Create detailed prompts and responses across various topics to guide AI learning, ensuring models comprehensively understand diverse subjects.
• Optimize AI Performance: Evaluate and rank AI responses to significantly enhance the model's accuracy, fluency, and contextual relevance.
• Ensure Model Integrity: Thoroughly test AI models for potential inaccuracies or biases, thereby validating their reliability across a wide range of use cases.

Your Profile

• Minimum 2 years of hands-on Swift/iOS development experience.
• Strong understanding of core Swift fundamentals, including memory management and ARC.
• Professional iOS engineering experience, having shipped or maintained production mobile applications.
• Minimum Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science or a closely related field.
• Proven ability to evaluate code for correctness, maintainability, performance, and UI logic quality.
• Significant experience utilizing large language models (LLMs) to assist with coding, debugging, and code review.
• Excellent English writing skills, with the ability to clearly articulate complex technical concepts.

Highly Preferred Qualifications

• Experience with SwiftUI, UIKit, and Combine in modern iOS architectures such as MVVM.
• Merged pull requests in Swift/iOS open-source projects, competitive programming exposure, or similar evidence of strong algorithmic problem-solving skills.
• Experience reviewing app logic or mobile architecture.
• Previous AI data training or model evaluation work strongly preferred.
• Minimum C1 English proficiency.
